wow... if your a fan of Buck and Don, i most highly recommend the book "Buck 'em" it's Buck's auto biography basically... taken from tapes he'd made before he passed away. One of the most entertaining books I have ever read. Truly an amazing life and an amazing couple of guys, Don and Buck. they live on in their recordings, thank God.

My stepdad Don Lee, lead guitar in this vid. Behind the drummer. He was Don Rich's replacement. I was 15-16yrs old when this was recorded...I'm 62yrs old now.

As Buck mentions here...he and Rich were together for 15yrs. Not only was Rich his right-hand man, he was Buck's best friend and co-leader of the band. For those that don't know, Rich was killed on his motorcycle in Morro Bay July 17, 1974 at the age of 32. He had just finished up a studio session with Buck and the Buckaroos and rolled out on his bike to join his family for a vacation.

I remember hearing of Don's passing on the radio when I was a kid.

My grandpa was at Don's crash site he told me it was one of the worst motorcycle crash he he ever seen
