3D view of a Prostate artery embolization for urinary retention in a non surgical patient

A case of Prostate artery embolization in a gentleman suffering from urinary retention, with chronic indwelling urinary catheter. This is a 3D view showing the microcatheter barely visible, the bladder with a Foley catheter, and the ureters filled with contrast. The procedure was performed successfully from a femoral approach allowing the patient to urinate after a week. His hematuria was also immediately controlled.
