As an FT fan, I really wish Mashima went 'characterization first, procrastinate to hell and back on booba'. Also, some characters had loads of potential like Acnologia and Juvia but got shafted. Like... ZEREF GOT SO MUCH HYPE AND HE LIVED UP TO IT SO WHY NOT ACNO?! I'd drop-kick a baby to see a universe where everything's the same but Acnologia and Juvia didn't get cucked in the characterization department, Wendy kept the short haircut and got a look that fits her character (I wanna burn that goddamn schoolgirl outfit), and Lucy's Star Dresses were more than just neat power-ups but are manifestations of her bonds with her spirits and how they see Lucy.
