Thank you for this amazing explanation. I was diagnosed with a non-functioning PNET in 2003 currently I do have suspicious tumours in my liver that we’re going to confirm next week if they are NET thru the DOTATATE PET Scan. I never thoroughly understood my PNET and now I do my heart goes out to you with gratefulness for your explanation that’s been difficult to understand. Please feel free to reach out to me if necessary or if you have any questions for my particular case, thank you!

Thank you so much! I’m 32 and I was diagnosed with PNET (G2) when I was 30. I had metastasis in the body and tale of the pancreas, and other organs like the spleen, gallbladder, and some nodules in the liver. The surgeon removed all that ( I just have the head of the pancreas now) and after a year the nodules appeared again in the liver. Nowadays I’m with systemic treatment of Sandostatin LAR and I feel very well and do my life normally. 💕

Lovely!! Its heartning to note that how easy this conversation was made. My father has "Tumor Neuroendocrine in Pancreas and Small Intestine, spread to the liver.", and I can understand what you all are taking. Do you offer online consultation? Wish to share the U/S, CTScan and Blood Repots.

I just had surgery for PNET in February. It had spread to my Duodenum. So the tumors were removed as well as lymph nodes . I was told no further treatment just follow up in 6 months. Now I’m wondering why?

Thank you for the informative video. I’ve just been diagnosed with a small PNET. I think they are going to perform an endoscopy to determine if it’s functional or not.
