Atermon is a short movie about the inability of the human mind to comprehend (let alone resist) the elemental forces at play in places where the presence of the modern man is still weak, in places where the notion that humans have mastered their world comes into question.
The story is greatly inspired in mood by the works of our favorite authors of fiction: H.P. Lovecraft, Clark Ashton Smith, Arthur Machen, Algernon Blackwood, and of course by the brooding and mystical countryside of Arcady .
The organization of the project was a collective effort by three friends (Giannis, Kyriakos and Nikos -- alphabetically ) who love strange stories, emotion -- stirring and thought -- provoking cinema, and above all, being creative and making enjoyable things.
