The much-loved Kids Design Glass (KDG) program at Museum of Glass has impacted children across the the United States and recently across the Atlantic in France. Soon, new KDG creatures will make their debut in another country—China.
Shanghai Museum of Glass has commissioned Tacoma's Museum of Glass to create 20 Kids Design Glass sculptures based on drawings by children in China. The Hot Shop Team recently received 100 designs and have now narrowed down their selection.
