Yusei & Yuya Appear on a Card?? - Yu-Gi-Oh Did You Know (#11)

While the top arm is most definitely supposed to be Yusei, there are some strange circumstances here that would make it impossible to be Yuya on Cards of Consonance as well...

The real coincidence is that Yuya gives to Yusei a tunner for synchrosummon, and Yusey gives to Yuya 2 cards to set the pendulum scale, which means this card predicted the pendulum summon

I like how this just legitimately happened by pure chance. Since this was very clearly not originally supposed to be a character that wouldn't exist for another couple of years, but it matches up so well because the syncro arc did indeed end up happening. And as someone else already said, the cards would also vaguely fit this connection. The IP is as much cursed with pure luck as it is with disaster, it's kinda amazing.

I think the even funnier part is that Yusei is handing Yuya in this instance two unrevealed cards whereas Yuya is handing off White Stone of Legend, a Dragon-type Tuner monster. Yuya's signature summoning method in Pendulums always requires 2 cards and Pendulums hadn't been invented yet so they're hidden. Yusei's summoning method requires a Tuner and he's just as well known for using a signature Dragon-type monster as Yuya.

The fact that i have been using this card for over HALF A YEAR in duel links, and never figured out whose hands were those was unbelievable 😅

Wrist bands I think we're just really popular for athletic characters or determined protagonists if that makes sense - red is a colour that symbolizes passion. This could just also show "Yusei's hand" (one similar but not actually the same either) and then the hand of what would be imagined of an enthusiastic dualist character with not much conceptual image in mind, a sort of self-insert. If that makes sense. All we really have hear is a red wrist band on an arm, it would be very cool if it was Yuya's and sometimes series really plot ahead but it could also just be coincidence.

Probably just a coincidence. The top hand doesn't seem like Yusei's either - you can see a green sleeve under the glove, instead of the black cords on Yusei's glove.

Likely ARC V was already in concept stage when the card was shown and Zexal was near the end of its final development. Arc V is a homage series so unlike the other series I wouldn’t be surprised if Yuya’s design and the story he had was thrown around for a while, especially with the whole gimmick in the anime and manga that characters can interact with their monsters being revisited in 5D’s then finalised in ARC V with the action duel style.

A lot of times characters and stories are thrown around for a while before finally being picked up so it wouldn’t surprise me if the card was made to initially be a small nod to that stage of ARC V’s development which ended up coming full circle with Yuya’s design not changing drastically

Well it's not the first time Yugioh haz predicted something, Sartorius Jp VA is also Dio. And Sartorius has an Arcana force monster called "the world" and he voiced Sartorius years before he voiced Dio.

Considering 5D's is about time travel, it's cool to think Yusei accidentally went to the future and met Yuya

What's even better is that both English voice actors dueled once. (Well technically other people dueled for them, they just voiced their own characters as if they were dueling)
