Every time I hear this song, I think of my best friend, she passed away 2 days before one of our duets in dance, her favorite color was yellow, I was 9, and she was 10. I know she dancing in heaven though. Love you Janie ✨👼🩰

When me and my best friend were in third grade, he started having heart problems and had to have surgery on his heart. He didn’t make it tho, and I really miss him. The last thing he said was “I’ll get better don’t worry” He never came back. This song reminds me of him 💛💛💛

I had a terrible boyfriend years ago who broke me down so badly mentally and spiritually.. He forced and threatened me to get an when I told him I got pregnant… You would think you’d see someone glow with happiness when they hear such news but he went dark.. I never saw anyone change so quickly to something so heartless and cold. I feared he would even kill me because of how angry he was. He tormented me for weeks and stalked me.., that was the lowest I was in my entire life. That day was the worst day of my life.. The most pain I’ve ever endured and the biggest loss I’ve ever experienced (not him but my baby) He was the most evil person I’ve ever met or been with but this song helped me get through all of that. It was a song I dedicated to my little bean.. I hope they know I will never ever forget them and I will forever love them so much and that I am and forever will be deeply truly sorry… they gave me life and true joy in the short amount of time we had together and for that I am forever grateful… I made them a promise to always give life back in their memory and I’ve tried my best to live up to that promise. He may not have cared or remember but I do 6/17/17

I hope anyone out there going through anything similar knows that they are strong and not to give up. Fight like hell and do what’s right. Don’t let them break you. Don’t let them control you. Don’t let them take that joy away from you. Run if you have to, hide if you need to, fight back, reach out and ask for help, give that baby a chance.. don’t live in regret because of that evil person threatening and forcing you.. hold on to that joy and hope and let God take the wheel. That person doesn’t love you if they’re willing to force you into immense pain and regret… don’t do it..

It's funny...I always thought this was about a girl...

This morning the song randomly popped in my head. I was never really a coldplay fan.

But the line stuck in my head, "look how they shine for YOU..."

Something clicked. So I brought up this vid to read the lyrics.

They say most great songs come from, "somewhere else." Well, suppose Coldplay was the instrument that whatever higher power (even our interconnectedness, if that makes you feel better about it) is using to tell you a thing.

Now, re-listen.

I can't believe it never clicked before. What an odd morning.
