William Byrd: Callino Casturame (Arr. for 2 Mandolins)

Показать описание
A lot of stereo going on, headphones recommended!
This is a Renaissance piece composed by William Byrd (1539/40—1623) for keyboard. A while ago I arranged this piece for two mandolins: basically, each mandolin plays one hand of the original keyboard score (obviously, the left hand is transposed up an octave for it to be possible to play on a treble instrument). I just love how the voices intersect and intertwine with each other! So here's me playing both parts!
Let me know if you need sheet music for this.
Filmed with Canon 60d + 35mm and an iPhone 7.
Recorded with Zoom H6.
