Iran urged to avoid military attack against Israel | SBS News

Australia has urged Iran not to take any military action against Israel to prevent an escalation of conflict in the Middle East. It comes after Iran vowed revenge after a suspected Israeli airstrike on Iran’s embassy in Damascus killed a top Iranian general.

Israel has not claimed responsibility for the attack but says it's ready to respond after Tehran's threats of reprisals.
