Another great camera from Nikon. Happy with the new releases at CES. The D780 is a definite buy, I was hoping for something like this and this is the only DSLR on the market that offers versatility that I wanted.

The p900 had issues with the tripod socket hole. The plate that held it had very tiny screws which couldn't properly hold the weight of the lens as it extended resulting in the plate eventually tearing off. Nikon fixed this in the p1000. Has this issue has been addressed for the p950?

When will Nikon come out the improved version of P950+, improve image sensor pixel or size, improve auto focus in low light, improve memory with fast write, improve with higher frame per snap, and with better flying birds mode, besides the perching bird mode.

I enjoy Nikon Coolpix are great to used but must confess that I m a Kodak child.
