So basically, the mind flayer (and all connected) are focuses on primary instincts like kill, survive, eat. And henry is the consciousness. The voice of the upside down that has been trying to come back.

This makes me think that demogorgans were originally not ruthless blood thirsty monsters since they didn't try attack 001 in this scene. I think it is only when 001 manipulated the mind flayer the demogorgans became evil.

I think he wasn’t strong enough to come back I think that’s y he took el powers at the end of season 3 if u listen to what he said he said the ones thing that was missing was her power then the cut scene to season 3 and billy telling her that he created that monster for her

I am honestly extremely confused right now, did vecna create the mind flayer, did he just give him the spider form, or is vecna himself the mindlfayer because he says that he wanted to transcend past his human form to become the predator he was always meant to be

Does anyone else see parallels between Henry and will from season 2!! Kind of reminds me of Harry Potter order of Phoenix where we see parallels between Voldemort and Harry!!!
