Vecna / Henry / 001 after getting banished into the Upside Down scene || Stranger Things S4 EP9

Its sad to think that the mind flayer and the demogorgons used to live peacefully in this dimension and really had no purpose but to live there probably without bothering anybody until 001 showed up and messed with the order in this dimension that once had the same order and “perfection” he so kept seeking and ruined it. Truly poetical how he is the one to destroy it once he has contact with the mind flayer.

When he says "a world unspoiled by mankind", yet he spoiled the Upside Down by disrupting everything, and everyone living in it, oh, the irony!. I hope they expand more on the Upside Down and its origins in season 5. This was one of the best scenes in vol 2, and it's nice to see the Upside Down before it shifted into Vecna's vision. This dark valley truly feels like a scene from the Divine Comedy. Truly a masterful season! So many emotions. Can't wait for season 5.

So my interpretation is that the upside down is ancient, the demogorgons, the tendrils, the bats, the mind flayer, they've always existed, but Henry is the one who gave them shape, and a motive. As we see here, the Flayer was alive, but it was chaotic, primordial, unorganized. And Henry gave them that organization

so the guy who complained about a world being spoiled by humans.. ends up spoiling the upside down world by transforming it into Hawkins 2.0

I find this scene actually majestic. The music, Henry, the Demogorgons and the Mind Flayer, everything is perfect.

It makes me sad because he corrupted the upside down and it’s creatures. The demogorgen was harmless almost, and seemed more scared of him than anything…

The mind flayer till this day has one of the creepiest designs I've ever seen. It looks like a giant xenomorph with no face

I love primordial upside down. I always thought it was a happy little demo land before one took over. This pretty much confirms it. Maybe in season 5 eleven will give the mindflayer an emotional speech and it will turn on Vecna bringing peace to the land once more.

“A realm unspoiled by mankind” it’s kinda ironic bc he spoiled the realm by turning it into what the upside down is now, before the cloud and demodogs were just living together peacefully but now he weaponized them. So he’s just done the very thing he hates. He soiled the demo dogs realm.

The funny thing is, if he didn’t have supernatural powers, he would have simply grown up into a serial killer. But with said powers, he thinks himself some kind of death god

Im honestly glad they went this route, that it was Vecna all along, that makes him as the main villain of Stranger Things so much better!!!

here’s what i’m thinking:
The Upside Down has always been there and it’s an ancient place that was home to the Mind Flayer and only El was able to create a gate to, and from how easy Venca / Henry / 001 was able to shape the Mind Flayer i think his powers might also come from The Upside Down somehow since his powers are natural and aren’t a result of government experiments, and the reason why Hawkins is in The Upside Down is because Venca / Henry / 001 shaped the world to his liking. Also i think with every experiment each kid got a different power from Vecna, for example 008 was able to make people see whatever she wanted just like Vecna does with his victims and the clock.

It's Kinda Ironic how he talks about the world being spoiled by mankind and how Martin wants to control him, Yet he enters a new world and immidiately takes controll of it and spoils is worse in just a few years maybe even weeks than all of mankind ever could.

I think it will be cool if Henry thinks he has created everything in the upside-down but in the end it turns out that the mind-fla is controling everything and just back-stabs Henry

I love how even how much of a hell scape the upside down is the mind flasher and the demogorgons are really tamed and peaceful
