Aventurine is like one of the only characters who is important enough to get a backstory explanation and not "oh he has trauma and thats it" on a lot of characters. I start crying everytime i see him now

Thank God he's alive, he's genuinely one of my fav characters and if he died I would have lost it 😭 he doesn't deserve to die with all those horrible things that happened to him and I like how he waved back to his little self showing as if he's moving on from the past and letting go his top hat in a way letting go his gambling addictions that came with his past and trauma... man he is definitely one if the BEST characters have a an incredible but sad story

I saw Aventurine for the first time and KNEW. He was traumatized. The way he acted it was just… I’m not sure how to explain it, he seemed so dissociated with everything… being threatened, insulted, attacked, I mean he was just keeping the same “Ok and?” Face/voice on the whole time- there was no way he could have had a good childhood or even a good like in the IPC. His conversation with Sparkle made me realize that he’s so far down that he could probably be beat to the point of barley death and he’d probably still not care at all- (haven’t finished the story, my phone storage is full and I actually might not be able to, which makes me so freaking sadddd 😭) but Aventuirne became my favorite character the first time he was on screen in the hotel-

But was really got to me in this trailer was Aventurine’s laugh, his raw genuine laugh. His actual smile… everything else has been manipulative, it’s all been fake. But this video wasn’t…
