Israel pulled a trigger with Haniyeh assassination, Turkey says • FRANCE 24 English

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Wednesday condemned the "perfidious assassination" in Tehran of his close ally and "brother" Ismail Haniyeh, the political leader of Islamist Palestinian movement Hamas. Meanwhile the spokesman for Erdogan's party Omer Celik said that Israel has pulled a trigger as he warned of wider conflict in the region. FRANCE 24's David O'Bryne reports.

I am Turkish and I can say with certainty that this dictator does not represent the majority of Turks. Currently I live in Turkey and unfortunately the government is in the hands of political Islamists. In Turkey, it is almost impossible for someone with a secular worldview to find a job outside the private sector. Freedom of expression is very limited. My strong advice to you is to never give way to political Islam.
