Toll-Free Mumbai Coastal Road Now Open | India's First Undersea Tunnel

The Mumbai Coastal Road, which has been under construction since 2018, is now open for commuters. Those travelling from the Western Suburbs can take the southbound lane from Worli and reach Marine Drive in just 8-10 minutes. Whatever helps South Mumbai wealthy folks & top Politicians gets done fastest & in the best way. That too toll free access . While the suburbs esp Thane - Navi Mumbai belt lacks quality well connected roads n flyovers & pending Metro work is as good as stalled . Access to Airport & long distance trains is also difficult. Toll free access to any new flyover in this belt is simply unthinkable.

And these are the areas of common people who make up for the most votes to elect the Mhst Govt ! Besides, CM Shinde's constituency is in Thane & his son Shrikant Shinde's constituency is Kalyan .

Mumbai coastal road is part of the corporation road network and is not comparable with N H. Toll is being calculated on the basis of total coast to build, the road including land coast.
