Switch Between Calendar and Fiscal Year in Power BI

More often than not you'll come across scenarios that require you to toggle between regular calendar year and fiscal year. In this video I'll share how to do just that.. enjoy!

Great video ! It´s something that´s useful with any custom calendars. Instead of creating separate pages this would allows for you to keep the page the same. A nice addition would be to see a slicer that filters on a year, and either filters on calendar year or fiscal year.

Perhaps a calculation group would be useful to achieve that.

Hi, can you tell me if I need to switch the KPI value based on these fields (in my case, it's Month or Quarter), how exactly do we do because DAX measure is not working 😞

Great video! I implemented it. I just have one question though. How do you implement the sorting?
If i wanna do it PowerBI complains that I cant sort a column based on another column (sort) that has multiple values for the column that should be sorted. Makes sense, but I haven't figured out a way around it.

Can you use a single calendar that has both CY and FY columns? The CY column is the regular date, and the FY column as a derived column from the regular date.

Hi when i am using giscal year date in table and use date hierarchy them it is showing normal date and fiscal year
