Excellent show. I have been shaving for about 35 years with a double edge razor system since I found my grandfather’s old 1958 model Gillette safety razor. Throughout that time, I have become quite proficient in the use of this style razor. I did not have to be coaxed into using one. The cost savings, the better results, the environmental benefits soon became quite apparent. I tried to tell my friends and while a few came to understand, most just kept going back to the plastic cartridge razor junk. What I was up against was a “culture change” challenge. I used grandpa’s old razor for years, then bought more models from antique stores, and a few European companies. Still, I could not communicate the needed culture change or habit change. I was just angry at a system that had become so corrupt by putting profits ahead of performance. Don’t get me wrong. I know profitability is a good thing but it never has to be as malevolent as it has become. I love bauhaus design… I.e. form follows function. I still use fountain pens, analog watches, pocket knives and safety razors. I was so happy to see this Canadian company lean into the safety razors market with a great product. I’m glad to have help in helping me communicate my message. By the way, the Henson razor now gives me the best shaves in my life. As an every day shaver, I truly appreciate it.

I'm an electric shaver user for the last 40 years and always wanted to try an "actual" razor but didn't want to go there, until now. I just ordered one directly from Henson. I want to support these guys. I hope I like it as much as I think I might.

I have been using a DE safety razor for years. My grandfather died when I was in college and perpetually broke. I flew home to visit family to help go through his things and found an old brass safety razor and decided to help keep his memory alive by shaving with it even though it looked "dangerous". I found out the blades were extremely cheap and I still use that old razor. After watching this, I think my grandpa would bless my upgrading to a razor like this.

I rarely get to see such honesty in a company, especially how they were founded. Most companies try to oversell the consumer by amplifying the problem statement, but not Henson. I just placed an order and I’m looking forward to trying out the product!
