Skunk: Classic Fireball Restoration Project

This film has been produced by two students who after deciding they wanted to sail a Fireball dinghy in September 2013, then restored a classic fireball picked up on ebay and had not been afloat in over 20 years. Restoration took place throughout the winter and summer, finishing 1 day before the 2014 UK nationals in Tenby.
We sailed all week in the nationals and had a brilliant time and are now looking to get a second more competitive boat to train and race in the 2014 worlds Pwllheli Wales.

I am about to take on a task like this one. My old fireball has been sitting for over 11 years. We used it once then life happened. Can’t wait to spend time with my dad, Jim Heslop, and my kids to fix her up.
