Recovery compass is so underrated. The main complaint is that "how will it help you if you lose it when you die", but you're quite literally not supposed to have it. You keep it at your spawn, and once you respawn it will lead you directly to your stuff so you don't lose it. "But what about hardcore and KeepInventory players?" That's their decision. Yes, the item is useless to these people. That's why it's an optional item in an optional structure. There's still plently of people who would like to find their stuff when they die.

Like me and my girlfriend went out to actively find frogs to bring back to our base and we bred the frogs to get frogspawn to then get tadpoles to put into a bucket.

Might also use calibrated skulk sensors for future builds if we happen to spawn near an ancient city and Amythest geode

The potion of oozing is SO incredibly useful. Brew just one set of splash oozing potions, go to the nether and aggro a bunch of zombified piglins near a pit, then you can TNT the pit and get like half a shulker of slime balls.

I love excavating the trail ruins, but I’ll agree they definitely don’t have the most incredible loot. I do like the music disc though

The most efficient xp farm can be made with armadillos a zombie and a fireplace using infestation on the armadillos and damaging them with a fire will make the bug looking things spawn and using a trap door floor and an armor stand can get massive amounts of xp. I got 40 levels in under 2 minutes

Honestly the calibrated skulk sensor is pretty neat, considering it can be linked to ANY SOUND (Like it can be linked to a bee sound and only activate when there's a bee around)
It is a different thing than the strenght of sound, this one you have to calibrate it with a lectern

Actually the new potions they added are super useful, those overpowred silverfish farms or new slime farms are based on these
