Horses, ponies, donkeys, chickens, ducks, pigs, goats, many of them are suffering or died horrific deaths. My heart is broken as I adore animals.
And of course I think of the people who died too. It's just beyond a travesty.

I'm an 80 year old retired military with average intelligence and know if you use a blowtorch on an electric cable it will melt the insulation and metal wire it contains.
Los Angeles is covered by trees and surrounded by forests through which runs the power grid.
Now, have hundred mile an hour winds whipping up the flames of a fire which then act like a blowtorch attacking the cables causing the power to short circuit.
With the power cut to the water pumping stations you will eventually lose water pressure to the fire hydrants.
It certainly wasn't a DEI hire that caused the city to burn, maybe put money into the infrastructure to add large generators at the pump stations as the planet grows hotter.
