Humans of the Silicon Age - Introduction

Welcome to Humans of the Silicon Age, a new initiative to showcase and discuss the human experience of building technology.

I’ll be talking with people all around the world about what it’s like to invent, create, deploy and maintain technology as human beings. I’ll be asking the questions around how we do it better, why we do it and open up the ways we think about it. The ideals and realities are often so different and there’s never one accepted definition of anything. We’re all just making it up as we go. Technology is a series of constant experimentations and often so is life as a human being. We all think we know the answers…until we don’t.

For everyone in it, you are forcing change upon the world. Through your own sheer will and brilliance, you’re building technology that will make tomorrow faster, easier and stronger than today. I’m going to show you that you’re not alone and the people around you and the world you belong to are why you do it.
