In the history of ancient Rome, the "Roman Golden Age" refers to a period marked by remarkable prosperity, stability, and great expansion of the empire. This period is commonly associated with the rule of Augustus, the first Roman emperor. The transition from republican rule to the principate of Augustus marked a pivotal point in Roman history, bringing with it an era of internal peace, known as the "Pax Romana", and a flowering of arts, culture and architecture.

For those who aren’t aware, the old PBS series I Claudius, addresses the end of his life and it’s one of the greatest productions ever. Similarly, The HBO series Rome covers his early days, and is likewise, one of the greatest productions ever. Does anyone know who’s streaming I Claudius? I’ve been in the mood to rewatch it.

This was a good video,
Interesting history...good information

As long we dont have any re-hashed content of greek/norse think i got enough of that now....

Roman history, hebrew history, yoruba mythology, korean mythology(saw the short on that korean deity, that was good)...
Japanese history, biblical stories...

Mite be alot, sure...but ive seen alot of greek/norse mythology nonstop....back to back videos of some of the same stories....

Just keep up with the new stuff...history and mythology that i havent heard of before...

And to the artist that did the drawing for the whole illiad video...give em a raise and ask them to draw somemore stuff for us to look at...🎉🎉🎉

0:02 Octavian didn't defeat Pompey. Pompey was killed while Ceasar was still emperor 🤔

I wonder what would have happened if Cicero was still around. He would have had Agustus figured out. How would he have handled it?

Can’t remember the book but they say he’s not much of a general but for politics and administration, he was better than Caesar himself
