Dan Lanning reacts to Oregon's dominant win at Utah

The Oregon Ducks went to Utah and delivered the biggest blowout win in Salt Lake City in Oregon program history over the Utes. The Ducks won 35-6 in a game that never really felt close from the very start.

Following the big win over Utah, Oregon head football coach Dan Lanning gave his instant reactions to the win.

"Extremely proud of our team," said Lanning. "I think this was our most complete game. We played a four-quarter game. From start to finish we faced moments of adversity and we never flinched. It was really complementary football. From offense to defense, to special teams, to field position. I think we played our most complete game since I've been here against a really good team. We expected this to be a battle. We talked about winning in the trenches, winning the takeover battle, and that showed up today."

Dan Lanning spoke with the media about Oregon's hot start to the game, the stellar play on defense, why he believes Bo Nix is a Heisman front-runner, and how this team is handling success on the road. Plus a lot more.

Oregon dominated in all phases of the game. They held Utah to just 241 total yards and 99 rushing yards, the Ducks forced two Utah turnovers, and on offense, the Ducks scored touchdowns on all five of their trips into the red zone.

With the win Oregon improves to 7-1 on the season and is in prime position to make a run for the Pac-12 Championship Game in Las Vegas.

Gonna be honest, I usually scoff when people make what may sound like political statements in these types of things. But Dan Lanning kept it classy, and honestly, correct. We need to look at every aspect and see where we can help things like this not happening anymore. Also love that he took a stand because its something his players feel really strongly about.
