Homework:
Since, the equation has real and equal roots, the discriminant(D) = 0
Now, kx(x - 2) + 6 = 0
⇒ kx² - 2kx + 6 = 0
Comparing the equation with the general form of quadratic equation, i.e., ax² + bx + c = 0, we get,
a = k, b = 2k, and c = 6.
Now, D = b² - 4ac
So, 0 = (2k)² - 4(k)(6)
⇒ 0 = 4k² - 24k
⇒ 0 = k² - 6k
⇒ k(k - 6) = 0
∴ k = 0 or k = 6
If we take the value of k as 0 then the equation will no longer be quadratic. So, k = 6.
Therefore, the value of k is 6.

Explanation :
Kx(x-2)+6 = 0
Kx²-2kx+6 = 0
For two equal roots
D = 0
b² - 4 a c = 0
(-2k)² - 4 ( k ) 6 = 0
4k² - 24k = 0
4k ( K - 6) = 0
4k = 0 .... or K - 6 = 0
K = 0 ... Or... K = 6
Values of K are 0 and 6
But k = 0 is not possible so the value of k = 6

i a bought a byjus package when i was studying at 8 . my parents buy that package, i didnot like it aand i spoil it...i played freefire in that tab .. when i am now studying at 10 i recognizing that was the biggest mistake ..i have done in my life... now i say it byjus is best

The equation is kx(x-2)+6=0
Multiplying x by kx and -2 by kx we get the equation
kx²-2kx+6=0
Now a=k b=-2k c=6
D=0
Which means
(b)²-4ac=0
Adding the values we get
(-2k)²-4 (k)(6)=0
-×-=+, 4×6=24
So,
4k²-24k=0
k≠0
So,
4k²=24k
k²=24/4 k
k²=6k
We have 2 k on left side so we can cut 1k from right and 1 k from left by division method. And so the answer remains as k=6

But we're Neglecting the 0 bcoz, if we put k as 0 in the equation it's no more get a quadratic equation, hence the value of k is 6 ❤

Given equation have equal roots
So D = 0
b²-4ac = 0
(-2k)² - 4(k)(6) = 0
Solving it we get k²-6k = 0
k(k - 6) = 0
k - 6 = 0
k = 6
So value of K is 6
