So I just ordered the halo rings for my 2010 Camaro. Do I absolutely need to have the RGBW controller to use my halos?

I’ve now gone through 4 of these controllers. Everytime it’s set up, it eventually malfunctions with range, or Bluetooth pickup, or connection to the phone.

Q: if we decide to use both sets of output adapters, are we able to control each set on the app. Example: I have demon eyes and also lights on my intakes. The app controls them both at the same time but is there a way to control each individually?

Looks Great, but say I predominately have my phone synced (via bluetooth) to my vehicles internal Nav/Media Radio. Can I connect my phone up to the DD Lighting controller, set the color or style, then disconnect and re-sync to my vehicle? Or will this effectively 'turn off' the controller as it would no longer be receiving a command to display?
