I FOUND A WRECKED PORSCHE 911 GT3 AT AUCTION

I love buying crash damaged cars! The thought of being able to buy your dream car for a fraction of the price and learn so much about it whilst you rebuild and restore it is amazing to me. I went to Copart to look at some more potential projects including a Porsche 911 GT3, a Bentley Continental GT & more! Question is which one do i buy?

I work on Porsche’s for a living and I can promise you that you will never regret owning a GT3. I genuinely can’t name a better Porsche for you to buy for the price, the sound, the experience, and just the feeling of hearing that engine scream at 9k rpm’s while you’re driving around the track. Genuinely an amazing experience on its own

Mat - the channel is excellent. There's a nice balance of technical and enthusiasm. I greatly admire your mindset in the amount of research you put into aquiring the parts and fixing up the cars. As for this project, get BOTH the Bentley and the GT3. Hannah will thank you for it and you know that Bentley's nagging at the back of your mind. But .... the opportunity of that GT3, in a gorgeous blue shouldn't be missed. You'll look back and say "I wish I'd bought that ... when I had the opportunity".

Im sure the GT3 has rear wheel steering, keep that in mind Mat, then again its deffo a journey to watch and no doubt must be a wholesome experience to work on different machines with different specs for a living.

Hands down the GT3. In my opinion it’s a better car for your channel as the community clearly likes the Porsche content, plus that gen of GT3 was amazing. The Bentley is really nice and to have that W12 engine would be awesome as nowadays that kind of engine is starting to be a thing of the past, but… come on, it’s a Porsche 911 GT3 for god sake, get that!😂

This variant of the GT3, absolutely stunning! And I don`t think the Porchse will run you more than 30k in repairs and it will have a higher residual value at the end of the day.

Definitely the GT3. That engine is just next level, especially if you get an aftermarket exhaust. I’d definitely say Dundon Motorsports sounds the best on the 4.0.

The Bentley - convertibles have what’s called a ROPS - roll over protection system. So upon impact if it was to flip, that shoots out at the back as you have no B pillar to protect you
