Great little tutorial! With this Magic Mouse 2 trick, I can indeed use the iPad Pro with more facility - though favorites like Command-H is disabled (for now).

This was really useful thank you.
I found I needed to have assistive touch switched on to get this to work, but could then go to “pointer devices” and switch off “always shoe menu” to get rid on the assistive touch menu that stays on screen.

Hey thanks for the video. I can connect both BUT the keyboard is still on screen and dont work with some letters. According to Apple Support a mouse and a keyboard cannot work on ipad os. Do you have any recomendations what to do?

I am new to your channel, I was wondering are you able to still use the Apple keyboard with Assistive touch on? Once I turn it on my Apple keyboard doesn’t work with the mouse, most of the Keys don’t work....I would really appreciate a reply I have submitted a bug report to Apple but never got any reply.

thanks, was very frustrated having bought a magic mouse 2 thinking it would be easier to pair then a cheaper bluetooth mouse! Still a few bugs in the IpadOS system but my logitech keyboard is working much better with this last update too
