Yes this is a reupload, but I accidently put a 30fps clip on my timeline so the entire prior video was in 30fps! This one is 60fps after editing it extentisely because the whole timeline was ruined, I am reuploading because I'd like you all to enjoy this video in the absolute best format possible hope ya'll enjoy :) .

Thanks for the video. Definitely helped really showcase the picture quality increase going from monitor to tv. Much appreciated.

The S95D lost to the A95L in Cinema and Filmmaker Mode by .06 for movies and streaming, so it's a virtual tie. But that isn't the unlocked mode (Standard, Dynamic, or pushed Cinema)

In gaming, it is significantly better and brighter as the full panel is being utilized.

I appreciate your content, im a new subscriber

When these monitors can get as bright as a G4, I’m all in.

I have C2 65" connected to my PC (bed gaming with good distance) and I'm loving it but the only problem is not all games can be played on TV. That's why I am planning on buying an OLED 32 inch 4K 240hz which will fix the problem and the best part is I can switch between those OLEDs depending on the type of the game I wanna play :D

I find the 42 inch LG to be the absolute sweet spot between a monitor and TV. Great for productivity using fancy zones from Power Toys and amazing for gaming at 120 or 144hz assuming you have the GPU to push it. I find 32 inches and even larger ultrawide monitors a little too cramped.

Would you have a recommended viewing distance from the PG32UCDM?

I went with LG C4 48 inch. I wanted the 42 inch but LG at the time of purchased sold the 42 inch at the same exact price as the 48 inch. Prior to the purchase I used 48 inch Sony 900E as my primary, and LG 32 inch 166 hz 1440P VA panel LCD as my secondary monitor. The VA panel only looks good during the day. At night, image quality falls apart, or if you're playing a dark game, it has spotches of white in corners and around text. The old Sony just had 60hz in 4K, but 120 HZ in 1080P. Unfortunately, 1080P just looks average to me now. So I wanted something with good HDR, and between 37-48 inches with 42-43 being my desired size. I looked for several months and all had something I didn't like, or was over priced. I don't like curves, and I wanted OLED or mini LED or Micro LCD. Something to minimize blooming or light bleed as my Sony 900E had it as well, but it wasn't too bad for the most part being a FALD. It came down to C3 until the C4 went on sale. I thought the C4 looked a little better in person, not really $200 more, but I had the extra cash so I pulled trigger. It's been over a month, and I've impressed. Much better than Sony and my LG VA panel. I gave the Sony to my mother, I still have the 1440P VA panel, but honestly I have no reason to keep it. I can get high refresh at 144 HZ using custom resolution on m C4. Is there a big difference between 144 HZ and 166? No, not at all, most people couldn't tell in a blind test. Not even a big difference between 120HZ and 166. When you hit 100 HZ, anything to me becomes less noticeable. Besides, I have 5900X CPU, it can push too many more FPS to my 7900XT than 150 FPS in decent quality games like a Call of Duty (Thanks gamepass).

I think the decision is made from the start with the size. Either way, OLED monitors are very expensive and most use old OLED panels. I rather have a “work” LCD screen and then my OLED TV for everything else.

I think I’ll buy a 40 inch QLED tv after trying out the 32 inch monitor and desk set up.

If I didn’t play single player games I would’ve got a monitor but I’m been playing on a 55 inch tv all my life so I wouldn’t mind playing competitive games on a tv I can still see pretty good

I bought Dell Alienware 27 inch, 1440p, QD-OLED monitor, and I had to return it because of the brightness. Honestly I have a 49 inch Samsung QLED TV that I bought in 2019 and that TV is way better then this monitor for single player games, not to mention that any 1080p music video looks way better on that tv as well. I bought a 4K IPS monitor from ASUS instead, and honestly I'm fine with it. I don't care for games as much anymore but it is still decent. Not better than my tv and definitely not better than the new tv's, mainly because it's lacking HDR and better display technologies, but I would argue that it is at least providing way better brightness and is so much better for productivity. For music production it's awesome, I can see the text in FL studio so clearly.

I have a dilemma. I already have an LG C3 "42 now as a desk monitor. It is superb, but it is a bit huge when I play games in 16:9 as I have not that deep desk. Before that I spent 7 years with LG34UC88 ultrawide. Now I am thinking to stay with C3, or buy "49 superwide Samsung G93sc oled 32:9, or something "32 oled. I don't want to buy 34 oled I suppose, as I always felt I need more wide space than 3440x1440 monitor was offering me all that time. I also work using that monitor, so not only gaming. At the same time I think 32 would be better for 16:9 gaming with my desk depth, but I'm afraid it would be too small to fit in 2 windows side by side e.g. 2 text windows during work hours - like I do on "42 TV now (seems good), and had been doing on "34 ultrawide 7years and was feeling I needed more space horizontally then 2 4:3 spaces inside 21:9. Also I am a bit confused with prices here: If you take good "32 oled (e.g. the one you have exactly in this video) as 100% price, then C3 was 35% less in price, and "49 G93sc is 12% less than that "32 oled. When all make me be more inclined towards that Samsung G93sc, or leave C3 simply. But probably not buy "32 as the most expensive and less practical in my case, given all that said as I came from years using "34 ultrawide. But I afraid if "49 would work for me, and tbh I like LG for many years already an heard various problems people had with G9s. What do you think?
