Rib Mountain Red Trail and Quarry Loop Trail June 3rd 2018

This is the Red trail at Rib Mountain State Park in Wausau WI. It was probably one of the most beautiful trails we have been on so far. Very rocky and some pretty hilly terrain but well worth the hike!

Awww..darling selfie! As we lose weight our walking gait changes since we don’t have to compensate for all the weight! Good that we walk as we lose. This was a rustic walk on the wild side, turkey vultures and all!

The snakes are so bad here now that I’m staying clear of the walking trail in our park/lake area. I’m even cautious about working in my flower bed. Nice views! Thanks for sharing.

Loved the hike!!! Like you said so beautiful nature is!!! I can not go off paths because I am allergic to poison ivy and poison oak. I just see it and I get it!!! But we have many large metro parks trails by us so always trails to walk that are paved. People do look at me weird walking with my poles but I do not care!!!
