Love these professional series MIJ Jacksons from the 90s. I have a dinky reverse from the same period, made in the same chushin gakki factory. Except mine is the Dinky RVS. Natural finished mahogany but it's also super light weight. Reverse headstock and reversed sharkfin inlays. Same Jackson branded, Takeuchi made floating bridge. Came with the J-85 in the bridge and J-80C in the neck, incredible sounding pickups. The neck profile is absurdly thin, it's the thinnest neck I've ever played on by far. Way thinner than the neck profile Jackson uses now, and even many of the Ibanez wizard neck variants I've tried.

I bought the guitar off a friend who didn't really know what he had, got the friend discount on it too. In mint condition, not even any buckle rash on the trem plate. The build quality and fit & finish is superb, rivals a lot of USA made guitars I've experienced over the years.

I'm usually put off on reverse headstocks, but I love the Jackson/ESP ones. Gotta be pointy. That thing sounds pretty massive Louis! Love it!

Dude, MIJ Jacksons are stupid good. I have an MIJ Jackson Dk2m that I got for 180 bucks that is legit one of the best playing and sounding guitars I own. Crazy good deal!

I love the reverse head stock.
I have a Jackson Kelly XLR professional and I can't find another to compare it with.
Had it for 24 years now and it's still my favorite. Spent about $420, worked all summer to pay back my grandfather and I owe him so much more. He sparked a metal flame that still burns bright. Thanx...

Brother I just recently put back together a 92 rhoads ex professional. Neck broke years ago and could never find one any where from east coast to west coast. Finally found one randomly and put that f'r on and man soo much nastalgia. That guitar was my entry into metal 15 years ago. Play her through my MT15. F'n BRUTAL! Love your vids dude. Keep it up

There is just something about a reverse head on a guitar ( especially Ibanez and ESP) that I just love and to me screams METAL!!!!

Love the professional series. I recorded my earliest videos with a 1993 Professional V, it's 2 years older than I am hahaha.

The Indonesian x series models are typically pretty well built. I’ve had three recently that are immaculate 🔥🔥🔥🤘

Have the Jackson Professional '92 MIJ with the Rail humbucker and Takeuchi JT-580 tremolo (licensed Floyd Rose made in Japan). Has two singles but not sure what they are called? Colour listed as Metallic Black/Grey (has lovely gold sparkles) but looks a standard charcoal black gloss colour to me. Pawn shop had it up as a Dinky for AUD $400 (about US $250) grabbed it, got home and BOOM (VG+ condition) Pro Series MIJ🤩🇭🇲

I love my Jackson. I got one of the crackle finish soloists when I started getting really back in to playing the guitar. It's a chinaman, but i really enjoy playing it. Got black winters in it after watching one of your videos and it sounds like a straight up murderer! Great video as always. Looking forward to seeing more jacksons they're kind of my jam lol

Bro I just copped a 1990 Rhoads Pro for $500!! The sellers son had died 21 years ago and it had been sitting under his bed in the case this whole time 😵 It’s in great condition other than a little rusting on bridge and a little crackle on one of the knobs. It’s so hard to find the old Professional Pro’s with the proper MOP inlays, ebony bridge, and German Schaller. I feel so fortunate 😩

That being said, I also have an Indonesia X Series 7 string soloist that fucking shreds, has one of the most comfortable necks for a 7 string i’ve ever played. I think I might even like it better than my 2018 Mexican Pro Dinky that I brought a few months ago. Don’t sleep on the more recent import models, some of them are really fucking good!

I have a Jackson Infinity Professional from 92. It's like Jackson's version of a PRS. Kinda ugly but has a mahogany set neck into a mahogany body, 3/4" flame maple cap (not veneer) Floyd rose. I replaced the pups with a pearly gates set. Definitely one of the best playing guitars I have, but it looks like someone melted a PRS and it started to slump lol. Also have a 93 Jackson Rhodes professional that I've refinished in green sparkle and made a flame maple pickguard for. Early 90s Jacksons are the best known guitar secret lolol
