Ajax is the perfect character for tackling the hardest content in the First Descendant. What makes Ajax unique is his barrier and bubble protecting himself and his allies. Moreover, Ajax can reflect damage back at enemies and has great crowd control and survivability. He’s an upgraded version of Ajax, a base game character. With the Ultimate Ajax version, you get better stats and more mod capacity, allowing you to push your build even further.

The downside to Ajax is he has lower mobility, is mod-dependent, and has less damage. However, his survivability and group utility make up for making him one of the best Descendants in the game. With more mod capacity, you can increase his DEF and HP, giving you unmatched survivability in Void Intercept battles.

shields are fun and stuff, but if everybody is too STUPID to get BEHIND the shield when the boss attacks...
had a few boss fight where my teammates would run infront of the schield or out of the bubble and instantly die and complain afterwards that i didnt put shields up. And if JohnCrux45 reads this, yep i'm talking about you

When my shield breaks, I’m sitting at 20k HP with 160k defense it’s fucking nuts. Bosses dmg just tickles haha

Hi Ajax main here really Iike the build but body enhancement mod is so good for tanking have u tried that one yeah u lose out on getting ur mp back but if face tanked a lot

I think ajax could use a rework on those two middle abilities. If you run the shock punch module, you can do both of those things on any descendant. Having technically three ground smashes...kinda redundant... missing out on some really cool "Void" ability ideas...

Ajax also has a pretty nice damage build using his Orbit shield damage reflection. Pretty nice dps when combined with your weapon damage.

I just have one question? Did you try Selective Recovery (MP) over Psychological Victory? I was just curious how the MP recovery Modifier works. They both say something completely different. One says Modifier other says MP Recovery?

Matrix Compulsion was bugged unless they fixed it. leading to teammates who took hits during the duration of its buff taking the damaged received all at once. Not sure if theyve fixed that but if they havent, then I wouldnt use Matrix Recomputation.
