I don’t like that LRG takes such a long time to send their products.

I want them to change their MO and rename themselves UNLIMITED RUN GAMES.

I think the most scummy thing I've seen from them recently was this collectable replica sword/letter opener. Can't remember which game it was off the top of my head. Once they got everybody's money and closed pre-orders, they went and did a complete redesign on it, so now people aren't even going to get the collectable that was sold to them.

I’ve felt burned by LRG recently. The Star Wars games. Paid $40-50 for each(tax and shipping included) when you can currently buy double packs of most of them for 20 bucks.

I like limited run, but they release too many games at once now, and it's difficult to pick up everything you want, despite the open preorders. I've skipped on a few releases here and there that I wanted simply cause I can't keep dropping $300+ every month on switch/ps5 games. But it's thanks to LRG that my Switch game collection has gotten as large as it is now

Yep. They hold onto your money for a year plus. They’ve expanded. They can front preorders

I loved Limited Run when they first launched. I still buy some of the games today if there is an interest in a digital only title that I absolutely need physically. I think for that reason alone, I’ll always LIKE Limited Run. I don’t blame them at all for making money and getting big. That’s the point of it all isn’t it? But Limited Run doesn’t seem to be very limited anymore.

My biggest issue is their strict no reruns on the numbered releases.
All it does is create false scarcity and the only ones benefiting from that are the resellers.
Let's be real here, if people are buying them for 500+ $ on ebay there is clearly enough interest to make a reprint.

I do like their Collector’s Editions (especially the Shantae games), I’ll say that.

I literally though they stole my money and even forgot about it, I was surprised i had a package I didn't even knew of what it was... they took 11 Months to skip my Zombies ate my neighbors Switch collection copy. Never buying from them EVER AGAIN

I think LRG problem is their taking on more then they can handle. They can barely ship out games in a timely fashion and they also want to sell other merchandise like shirts, stickers and pins. I think a preorder window of a month is too long and should be a week or two. I just recently got my order of wind jammers 2 in the mail when I've had the game two months ago from signature edition games. I'll only order a game from them if it's exclusive and something I really want. Right now I'm still waiting for two more orders from last year. I understand they are running a business and in business you always want to keep growing and making more money but customer satisfaction is also important.

I do order from Limited Run, but the amount of games that I purchased from them has dropped off. I have a huge back catalog of pending releases that I haven't received, I ordered the Castlevania Anniversary collectors edition and it took over a year to get. I'm definitely getting more selective in what I buy from them

I'm a regular buyer from LRGs but I have to agree about the hit or miss stuff. Although I might disagree about the delayed releases most of the time. I would much rather have a fully patched game on my cartridge than a game I get early then need to digitally patch later. Kind of defeats the purpose of owning physical in the first place. Just look at bloodstained .. that game is unplayable unpatched. I would have much rather waited till the final patch then get the physical release.

I definatly hear the frustration. I think that LRG's has been bringing us physical titles that we never would have gotten without them. For that I apperciate LRG very much. I don't enjoy the long turn around time BUT I do think that the current envirorment we are living in ( i.e. post Covid ) has really put stress on production times from these companies/manufacturers. I do see some of your points I just think there is more too it or things that are out of thier control. I do enjoy buying retro games and phyical games.

I’ve ordered a few things from them in the past. I hardly order from them anymore. The turn around is so inconsistent. Sometimes you get a game in 6 months, sometimes it could take a year. I think that’s a bit much, considering they take your money upfront. It really killed my desire to buy from them anymore. Unless it’s something that I really want in my collection & has some sentimental value, I just don’t purchase from them. Not worth it to me.

i absolutely despise limited run games. disgusting company imo. just let someone else print the games in a less limited capacity.

Agree there are to many releases from LRG! But strictly limited is even worse with sending products you ordered! It nearly feels like a Ponzi scheme with them.

I still order from them from time to time I like their methods that they print digital exclusives. But the problem they have now is they have way too many games to handle. They need to focus more on the games that people have pre-ordered and waited for a long time to make sure they're shipped properly. I have been waiting on a copy of Castlevania Lament collection for over 6 months and River City girls zero.

What truly sucks is when you order a game from them and then Amazon or Best Buy puts that same game up for preorder 2 weeks later.

You can't cancel, you've paid more and the LRG version will arrive MONTHS after it's available from Amazon etc.

You've just come out on the losing end.
