My father was recovering from open heart surgery when this show first aired, and he was feeling depressed. Then, this match took place and Dad got to listen to his hero Bobby The Brain Heenan on commentary one more time. He actually hurt himself laughing, but it cheered him up. For that alone, I will always love that match. Thanks to all of them, especially you, Brain.

I love it when Jim Cornette tells this story and mentions that Bruce Prichard asked him if he wanted to participate. Jim asks, "Does it pay?" Bruce says yes, and Jim immediately says he's in. Classic Cornette!
