There was too much water on the tofu, so when it touched the hot oil, it rapidly expanded into steam and sent oil flying, which caught fire on the burner.

Not taking cooking so seriously is such a good way to go about it. Some people feel too insecure or threatened to go learn how to cook on their own because of the way people look down on it. It’s about experimenting. It’s supposed to be good and fun
