The real question is who _didn't_ AEW fumble?

No. Fumbling implies they tried to get him over and failed. They didnt even try because they dont have a clue.

First thing, Pente vs Gable wasn't "alright", it was great. Second, The Lucha Bros, just like FTR, Private Party and every other tag team in AEW, suffer from the fact that no team will EVER be allowed to be more over than the Young Bucks, every time a team is on fire, AEW do something to take their momentum away.

It's cool to see the WWE Universe give PENTA a HUGE reaction during his debut.
Just like other former AEW stars, WWE was able to treated PENTA better than Tony Khan.

I never defend AEW or Tony Kahn
I wouldn't say they intentionally "fumble" anyone.
They did an okay job, but he obviously reached his glass ceiling there.
The dude is 40, and had to move on.

WWE's production is absolutely second to none, and Penta is just another example of how they constantly make wrestlers look like absolute superstars.

Tony Kahn has a lot to learn in the wrestling business, even after 5 years.

In spite of all the negative social media counter-reactions, they handled the situation with Penta professionally. The responsibilities of his next contract were too big for AEW to take on due to bad timing and karma. Due to his age (39) and vulnerability to injuries, he had to move on after earning his credits. The main thing he wanted was to be at WWE to experience it for the first time in his career. AEW aided him in reaching his destination.

His Run in Mexico back in AAA was nothing less of spectacular. From his start in "Perros del Mal" to him unmasking "Hijo del Fantasma". It is also important to note that it seems that he has broken the "Pentagon" Curse. All other Pentagons have suffered serious injuries, including the Original Pentagon who was paralyzed for some time.

Penta was one of my favorites from AEW. The roster has changed so much. Its not the same company it was 5 years ago. Some of the fan hate is too much between companies and with the narrow minded perspective things are missed. Penta had a lot of great matches, and is a great performer. I never saw him cut a post match promo like the one he did at his WWE debut. it was really cool. However, AEW did do a good job letting death triangle do their thing; had a cool trios series with the elite. Won tag gold in a cage match. Really cool stuff. I would encourage WWE fans to check out some of Penta's, and lucha bros, matches when they're available on Max. He is really my favorite probably.

His match with Gable was more than just "alright" especially since Gable is a technical wizard, probably the best is the business and Penta was able carry his own without changing his style just fine.

Penta is a favorite of mine. His presentation was appealing to me and his in-ring abilities brought me closer to all elite wrestling in general. When I realized his age and the number of times he was injured recently, it made me ponder the business side of things for a moment.

Did they fumble him ? Yes and no . He's a multi company world champion but he got like one match vs Omega . But he's a tag guy, he got the gold, the trios gold, that universal title, do did his brother . They both got hurt, ALOT . You get hurt plans change, the company moves on for TV and ppv storyline 's to push . Those guys were not neglected or abused, they were top guys yes after 5 years and Fenix out hurt again he wasn't on TV. You know a wad of cash was offered to them and they took it . AEW has been around 5 years plus the brothers didn't grow up with dreams of wrestling in AEW, it was to wrestle for the WWE . Penta is 40 it was now or never .

Why is it that people always praise talent when they leave AEW for WWE but spread hate when they leave WWE to AEW ???

Absolutely. AEW is a masterclass on how to ruin your wrestling company. Cody, Punk, and Penta should all still be there. PERIOD

In reality, WWE is acquiring previously used, cautious talent, which may be referred to as underappreciated talent, but the situation is being treated negatively by upheld fans. As though they should feel comfortable in one place for the entirety of their careers. Business is what this is about. Throughout their career, wrestlers are required to eat and gain more accolades. There's nothing surprising about that. WWE's ability to deliver presentations to a larger audience is undoubtedly something I believe deserves praise.

Yeah, AEW fans point out the times they held titles but it was the time they didn't have titles that stunk. Fans loved them. I wanted more of these guys. At the end they were used to re establish the Bucks. You got guys kind them, Jerchio, Moxley’s crew, that are always in top angles and stories and the ratings on those segments drop.
