Hi, I’m Krista! I make math courses to keep you from banging your head against the wall. ;)

Math class was always so frustrating for me. I’d go to a class, spend hours on homework, and three days later have an “Ah-ha!” moment about how the problems worked that could have slashed my homework time in half. I’d think, “WHY didn’t my teacher just tell me this in the first place?!”

Ok, this is my first time saying this, but this math teacher is amazing. She always has the content I need. Keep being awesome!

Could you do videos on more complex surfaces? More specifically, two surfaces that are both described by 3 variables, instead of having one with only 2 variables?

I just hate that this video doesn't have more views than it does!  Very well put together. I especially appreciated the fact that you edited out the small gaps in between unimportant events, like writing equal signs and such. It really helped to keep the overall energy up throughout the entire vid! Great job!

Precisely answers all of my questions and yet remains concise and to the point.  Very well done.  Subscribed.

Ok, I realize this is an old video, but I must say that this was a huge help, and very much easier to understand than the explanation in my current class. Thank you!

what should you do if there is no shared parameter (eg: a cylinder with no Z parameter, and a slanted plane) and you want to have the result on the XY plane?

I LOVED YOUR EXPLANATION!! its shame that 67K people saw the video and only 459 supported the video with a like :( any way THANKS A LOT!!

amazing video, incredibly clear, thank you!

Great video! It should be noted however that there is no unique parametrization of the curve. For instance we can set y=t, and then z=1+t, the expression for x follows from the first equation

I love how you can explain a solution step by step without frightening me away. What can you suggest to help me organize these intriguing lessons?

Could one set z to t or y to t instead of setting x to t? Thanks for the video!

I love all of your videos! You make it so concise and easy to understand. I wish I had a pop up video of you on each section o my multivariable calc book lol. If my professor could just turn on your videos instead of a long boring lecture, i'd be golden!! Once again thank you Krista.
