The proximity of the Gihon spring to the suggested location of the Temple is paramount to this being the correct site. Find the threshing floor and one will have found the location of Solomon's Temple. Shalom and Maranatha!!

I watched a video awhile back that stated what we call the Temple Mount, was actually the Roman garrison. This was from a description of one who documented at the time the garrison overlooked the temple. I believe this may well be true. It would sure make it easier for the building of the third temple. Rebuilding is prophesied.

The problem with this is, the Temple and the Palace shared a common wall (Ezekiel 43: 4-9). Davids tomb is the best location for the Temple.
