That monitor console is 👍 the amount of bus outs, inserts, outputs is crazy and I love mixing in that analog console

Great info on where the horns should be in the mix. One of the first bands I worked with was Big Walter Smith and the Groove Merchants. The sax player taught me the same thing and had me listen to Tower of Power for reference.

Remember building the Allen & Heath GL-2800M prototypes; came in 24, 32, 40 and 48 channel frame size. Their small format monitor mixer was the MixWizard3 12M. It's nice to bust out an analogue board every once in a while. Had a few power issues in my time too. Don't always get to do a site survey, and on a couple of occasion's I've rocked up and had just a single 13A UK outlet made available to me...never fun trying to hunt down power.

Nice video! :) I have one question. How do you connect the monitor mixer and the foh mixer together? How do it get the information from the foh mixer? :)

Do you mix full-range, or Sub on an Aux? I've found both to have their own advantages.

Also - how do you like the Presonus PA? I've never seen one out in the wild....

Love the videos - keep it up! :)

I, m the one of your subscribers.. i likes your video start from the 1st video that i watched iwhen i see it on youtube suggestion. So, because of that, i want to give u a suggestion about the flow of your video. I think if u make a video include the setup process, from connecting every equipment of sound system, mixing with the band and so on., its will more better.. i hope u can think about that..

Great observation on compression for the horns to separate the vocals from them. Nevertheless great mix
