Vaughan-Williams | Rehearse with Karina

For those of you who are used to orchestral rehearsals, you will perhaps be missing the guidance of the conductor. Look no further – we are so privileged to have Karina Canellakis, world renowned conductor taking us through a virtual rehearsal. She is critiquing the recording that Nicky and our tutors and ambassadors made.

We are sharing this with you in order for you to try out what she is suggesting, but also to demonstrate to you that every recording and interpretation can always be improved. We are all on al journey of development alongside you.

Do you mind me asking what app you used to make these group play alongs? My violin teacher is looking to do something similar with her string group.

Hi! I’m not sure the best place to place this question. But I have never played with a conductor before and I am only playing the beginner violin part and am having a hard time figuring out how exactly how to fit my piece to your conducting and actually play along with the play along. I can play my part with the guy, I don’t know how to spell his name, just fine but when I try to play with all of you I get so lost. Can anyone help me? I really want to submit a recording.
