I put a 12k Firefly spring in mine, when I first got it when they were new, with all plastic internals except the plunger tube and 40cm kury barrel, and so far I've not had any issues!

great video! I used an unchambered 40 cm kury barrel, tomcat spring, metal catch and tube - hitting 250+ with a smooth prime. I also used the AKBM replacement front insert, works great

It’s not going to matter how much more spring you throw at it. You need more barrel. You will see a decent fps increase just by increasing barrel length and tolerance. I am going to be running a 45cm kuryaka machined barrel.

The 18kg Worker Longshot spring isn’t going to generate as much energy as 18 coils of K25 due to the lack of pre compression yet will still be a pain in the butt to prime due to the thicker wire gauge than the K25 at least that was the result I had when I tested it a few months back it actually made less power with both the 45cm and 50cm Kuryaka barrels fyi.

what if you just replaced the buffer spring with the silicone pad? Also with a SFI TC25 spring/14kg spring and a 50cm unchambered kuryaka barrel you can get 300fps

Not sure if you fixed yours yet but I put the same 18kg spring in my longshot and just shaved down the plasic inside the blaster that rubs on the spring and now its much easier to prime

I mod mine with a 45 cm Kuryaka barrel, a 22 Kg Spring, The red plunger (of course), a worker SCAR, the alluminion catcher, a better worker foregrip and the worker Printed Muzzle Quick Swap Barrel and MY litlle weapon became a super sniper gun with shots at 320 fps to 350 fps, the only catch to this mod is that you cant prime it with the left hand with the buttstock extended, it will loosen it self and go to normal mode giving a snap and almost breaking it, so i have to prime it with my right hand. But is a beast with this fps and very accurate with the SCAR with all 15 short darts hitting the target at more than 100 ft (about 50 metters) and my target is just a dart target with 40 cm all around.

Damn I'm surprised it could take the 18kg spring! I wonder how before there would be a failure somewhere else with that strength behind it
