Marit de Ridder is the winner of the Jane M Klausman Women in Business Scholarschip of Zonta District 29 of the year 2021.

Join us in the search for talented women that aim for a career in Business. The Jane M Klausman Women in Business Scholarship helps women from the classroom to the boardroom by funding their business oriented higher education. You can apply by approaching your nearest Zontaclub. Deadline of Round 2022 in District 29 is: June 15th.

What can you win?
In February 2022, the Zonta International Board approved elevating the district and region awards to 32 international Jane M. Klausman Women in Business Scholarships of US$5,000 each with one scholarship recipient from each Zonta district/region, plus an additional five scholarships for the five largest Zonta districts, for a total of 37 scholarships each year. District 29 provides thus two Scholarships.

How are the Jane M. Klausman (JMK) recipients chosen?
Zonta clubs publicize the program in their communities and distribute, receive and evaluate applications. Zonta clubs select one application to send to the Zonta governor/region representative. The district 29 evaluation committee selects two applicants to submit to Zonta International Headquarters. The Zonta International Headquarters team confirms the eligibility of the applicants put forth by the districts/region and submits a recommendation to the Zonta International Board (or the Executive Committee acting on its behalf) for approval.
