This dance clearly has way too many turns, but her turns are amazing. Her technique is beautiful, her flexibility is insane, and she made a few facial expressions throughout the dance. She really was a great dancer, but I never really liked having her on the show because she wasn’t one of the original girls, and she psyched everybody out, especially Maddie, and in this dance, Chloe. It wasn’t fair to the other girls to have her there, and Abby definitely knew that, she only kept her around because she can turn. And she can turn really really well, there’s absolutely no denying that. I just liked the two solos that she got to perform because I think that was plenty of stage time for someone like her. Otherwise, I thought the dance was great if it weren’t for the damn turns.

I completely understand the edits because some parts are too sexualized for a kids dance to put on tv plus there are too many turns so it gets redundant. But obviously Sophia was an incredibly talented dancer. I doubt we will ever see another child dancer like her again! The balance, the flexibility, just the sheer talent, the girl had it all!
