Repentance is so hard. There are some desires of the flesh that are just so clingy and it's been so tough to let go. I know the Holy Spirit is with me, guiding and leading me. I am learning self control and it gets better every day, but the desires cling on. It is not an easy walk to walk with the Lord, but IT IS SO WORTH IT!!!! I cannot imagine a life without Jesus. It's pure Freedom. I just pray that as people of God, we get to stop compromising on His word and live a life expecting Him to do wonders. Wonders not just for me but for everyone around me. Those I know and those I do not know.

This song speaks so loud to me because I only want freedom. I say it so many times to the Lord that I am sorry, but I keep falling. And I really don't have an excuse for my feelings and actions.We can do it. We can make it all the way till the day the Lord comes. Let's keep helping each other. Motivate one another. Teach each other on how to walk the way of the Lord. What you have overcome, you are able to release from the next person who is going through the same thing.

I truly believe the first time I heard this song, playing it as much as I could before release… eventually it started playing in my head during my sleep time, which is the time I’m often tempted. Somehow singing in my head “I’m never going back again” it really felt like I had authority and the ability to truly love and trust God to give me comfort, joy and attention. And though the temptations keep arising, the attacks don’t feel big anymore, they don’t feel impossible to not give into… the pull felt strong once before, but now I just really know I don’t have to give in while also reminding myself that there’s something that God wants to give me in such situations. It’s getting easier to grab his hand the more I ponder on his love and recognize his goodness and beauty. This song has allowed me to open my voice and finally speak with much more confidence and understanding. I often thought if I didn’t give in I’d be missing out on something, but really it’ll just be missing out of the more God has for me..
