2:21 is a very nice side mount escape. I have to try that. I use different one, but this one seems very nice and useful too. This looks like a ground version of arm-hip throw to escape. NICE!

If your grabbling is not strong enough even you have the skills. It's doesn't work to opponents who good on punching and self-defense. Grabbling make you tiredness more faster.

I have respect to Silva's grappling, but he has nothing at all in his striking powers, not even on the ground. He has to use strikes to setup submissions. He can't go with just no-strike submissions. BIG MISTAKE! He is courageous for pulling guards and work from any position--unlike many cowardly grapplers. Ayoki who they mention in comments is a coward, who won't go to ground unlike dominant position is presented to him on gold plate. Clearly Minowa is a better fighter here!

Alex can only ground game, in his head just want tu grapling, thats why he got mny shot.. He got no other alternative to fight.. So bad got fighter like that..

I would like to be one of Minowa’s coaches, and just 1 single advice will make a world of difference in his performance and career: Just gawd dang hammer fist way HARDER… At that one point 10:30 when he had Silva stuck and getting free shots in, he could have possibly ended the fight there, or at the very least cause a lot more of damage therefore draining Silva’s energy, durability, and will making the fight easier on himself moving forward.
