Ok, when I ass <script
my console throws an error claiming that the file "ObjectLoader.js" has an unexpected {

anyway, for any of you wondering how to solve this, just remove the line <script from index.html

I hope this will help someone.

I am trying to import autodesk maya models onto my three.js website but of course...ran into problems.

1) Maya models are .mb files so I tried exporting them into obj files and looked up how to use OBJLoader

2) I found the objloader in the example folders and put it into my js folder but when I tried using the same format as you did with your json file, it does show up.

Note: I didn't change my old file and kept everything involving the cube to this point.

any tips?

Whenn i try import the miodels it give me an error saying "THREE.ObjectLoader: Loading "Geometry" is not supported anymore."

When I import my json object the textures included do not display. Research online tells me ObjectLoader doesn't support textures yet?

For me personally your explanations of the Three.js are the best and thank you for that. Is there a possibility for you to make a refreshed video on model loading corresponding to the new version of the Three.js framework?

And another suggestion if I may, please do a video on how to use Three.js on a real project of a web site, how it can be done, how does it correlate to the other elements on the page, controls, etc.

Hello. I have same trouble . I get an error with the 'ObjectLoader.js' even before i try to add in the JSON file, the console says 'Uncaught SyntaxError: Unexpected token { ObjectLoader.js:1 " any one know how to help?
Is there any version of Three.js ? I have already downloaded latest version. (a week ago)

Can anyone help me with this CORS error? I've been getting this error in the console when I try to use images for textures and/or models... Whether they are local or they are from a URL. I finally got the texture images to work by uploading my images to IMGUR and referencing the src, but I can't get any model to work whether I download it and use it locally or try to reference embeded code online. I have tried creating my three js app in a different directory... but I always get this error:
"Access to XMLHttpRequest at '[img/model file path or URL here]' from origin 'null' has been blocked by CORS policy: No 'Access-Control-Allow-Origin' header is present on the requested resource."
