Having some limited exposure to Desktop over 5 years ago, I passed the QBO ProAdvisor certification exam last week, but I don't feel prepared to go out there and take on the books for a business. Another trainer that endorses you implies if we don't go on to get the Advanced cert, we won't get clients. What next step(s) would you suggest? Start studying for Advanced? Take more fundamental Accounting/Bookkeeping courses? Other?

Hi Hector, your videos are awesome. I have spent over an hour on the phone with QB support and they were not able to find a solution. We need a report to show all checks written on a specific payroll period, not just a specific pay date as there can be more than one payday to accommodate corrections. How can we see all checks written for a specific pay period? Thank you for your time.

I was looking to get into bookkeeping and though that the ProAdvisor program would help me get my first job in the field along with a bookkeeping certification, but you mentioned if we do not have clients we can lose the certification. If I were to get a job using this program to elevate myself from others and not form my own bookkeeping business would it be helpful?
