Damn, Ghostzapper was so fast. How do you beat him? He can run on the lead w fast fractions and pull away, or he sits just off the lead and eats you alive in the stretch.

At his best, Zapper was as good as any racehorse ever.

One of the all time greats. Had he stayed sound he would be at the top of the list. I love this horses style to to able to sprint, come off and stretch out to 1.2 under a hand ride. A phenom as in Fager and Cigar but much faster.

I think as good a racehorse as there ever was. He gave me chills everytime he ran. Freakishly fast athletic and flawless just unbelievable. Wouldve handle Flightline in my opinion.

Frankel wanted to try him at a 1-1/2 miles on turf. Maybe the only horse who could have run the Breeders Cup sprint if he had been entered in the race.
