Had a 78 brand new. 350 four speed SS. Put a L-82 Vette motor in it, 50s on the back, Vette wheels. What a fun ride!

I had a 1970, swivel buckets, 402 cubic inch, rally wheels. Loved that beast, floor rotted right out of it by 1973 lol.

I had a 78 Cabelaro with a 350 and all I can say was woowsers could that scat! The Cabelaro was GMC's El Camino, the only difference was the badge! Am looking forward to see the 2025.

So, if this is indeed true, the Camaro's replacement in NASCAR will be the Chevelle SS which is the El Camino's kissin cousin. Myself, I would much rather have the SS Chevelle variant. If this rendering is close to the production El Camino, I think it's a great looking vehicle. Thanks for sharing.
