What he said about Swami Vivekananda's incident had not taken place in that way. Swamiji had a special ability to read a page at a glance. It is all about concentration not perception. And the book was in English. By the way, Swamiji had not created a 'little bit' of ripple in US. It was a Tsunami.

Again it has now become impossible to ask people to know life as it is and not from the words. Such a great being is here and us humanity is caught up with WORDS!

I completely understand what you are talking about. It's so peculiar really! It's like all one has to do is reflect, and things that make sense come to you. It's like we all share One big metaphysical cosmic brain ^.^ It's almost like that's what is meant by an impersonal God. However, there also seems to be a sort of personal God that exists within us, outside of us in everything, but also outside of everything itself.

It is a great secret & mystery still not discovered yet but it exists. Many a times sadhguru speaks about the word "perception" which still ordinary people doesn't gets its actual meaning. This is not an ordinary perception which he talks about. This "perception" is very much the "third eye" which he talks about each time. We know there is a "pneal gland" in brain, but still doesn't know the use of it. In yogic science we call this "pneal gland" as "third eye". Science still don't know about it tells it as of know use but by yogic process it can be awekened. Beneath the spinal we have a tremendous voltage of energy known as kundalini energy. A yogi with practise of meditation & hard yoga arises this energy up his spinal cord to his brain to activate this pneal gland/third eye/agya chakra. If this third eye becomes activated his brain will tranform to 1000 times more powerful than a normal human brain which Vivekananda & Sadhguru did it. One glance is enough to memorize any book whatever may be the number of pages. The power of third eye(pneal gland) is such that one can read a book just by scanning it like a scanner does which vivekananda did that sadhguru talked about. The perception of third eye is such that it can see beyond the concrete walls which a normal human cannot see. This is why Sadhguru is referred as the MYSTIC EYE by the people. This is science but still not discovered. That is why sadhguru tells everytime to everyone to open his extra ordinary perception to experience the dimension beyond the limitation of this two eyes.

Responding to a comment below, about perception:-

If you hear him again, in this video, he's speaking of perception that's far beyond what you mention; the latter is commonly understood, the former is developed in course of spiritual path. It has been known about since ancient era. To know everything a person before one knows, or to know a book without opening it, are two examples of it.

Dear sir, just want to point it out that this incident did not happen the way it is narrated here. The book was in English and not German. And the impact that got created by Swamiji's stay in the west was the same as that of an enormous tidal wave that brought people Enlightenment and peace manifold. Please read books published by RamaKrishna Mission to get an account of incidents as had actually happened.

I see people in comments saying the story is 'fake'. But here's a thing, just because you didn't 'read it' in any book doesn't mean it's 'fake'. It's like in the movie munna bhai where the doctor asks munna, ganghi's wife's name and he is not able to answer because he didn't 'read' about that. Your knowledge is limited. Don't try to put down a person who is impacting millions worldwide.

So Sadhguru can percieve words and ideas from peoples mind? Just in the same way as Vivekananda can perceive the content of a book which he doesn't open and which language he doesn't speak?

Sadhguru hinted to this once in a similar video. Where he said that everyonce in a while he goes in a book shop and scrolls or browses through a bunch of books to see what is going on in the authors mind.

Do you think he can actually perceive thoughts of other people if he is close to them or when he scrolls through books they wrote? So just like this Vivekananda story?

Even Vivekanda had said, just before leaving his body - "If & only if there were another Vivekananda alive, he would understand what this Vivekananda has done". Sadhguru ji, you are not even close to that person, so its acceptable when u have used those words, "little bit of waves".
